How do we bring women together from across different traditions, denominations, and movements? How do we unite to change the atmosphere in our families and communities? How do we appeal to a broad scope of ages and life stages? How do we generate excitement and energy?

RESULT
 
A strategic and energetic brand launch with logo, website, digital flyers, PowerPoint decks, and signage, that celebrates and engages the power of women to affect their families, workplaces, businesses, and culture.
STRATEGY
We came away from the discovery meeting with a plan to create a brand with feminine appeal without being “girly”. Evoking strength, energy, action, empowerment, momentum. Embrace homemakers and businesswomen, Millennials to Boomers, moms, college grads, widows, marrieds and singles. 

This is not your usual Christian women’s conference. This is intended as the start of a movement.

Unique Insights
 
I needed to develop a strong symbol that evoked strength and freedom, and that women in general would appreciate, and women of faith would understand. The logo icon for Unite Women combines the shape of a bird with the letters U and W in a covert manner. The curves help communicate approachability. I used a spectrum gradient of yellow-orange to magenta in the icon. This color choice adds strength and removes a sense of girly-ness that’s so common in graphics promoting women’s conferences and ministries.


The yellow-orange and magenta hues are applied exclusively and throughout the website and other visual communication.
