FAQs About Working With Alvalyn
For prospective clients, I’ve provided answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. If you’re wondering about something I haven’t included here, shoot me an email.
What, exactly, do you do?
I help businesses and organizations grow by creating their brand strategy and elements they use to connect with their customers.
What will I receive?
We begin with a brand audit to understand your history, current situation, and where you want to go. Based on that, I develop a strategy for your brand, then develop the touch points you need to accomplish your goals.
How much do you charge?
Every client and project is different. Design services vary greatly in quality from designer to designer. You’re free to choose who you want to work with. If low cost is your primary requirement, I’m not your designer. But if quality and experience and trust are your criteria, I am. And you’ll find that the investment you make is very much worth it.
Do you do all the work yourself?
Yes. I develop the strategy and create the designs. You’ll work directly with me through all phases of the project.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
I work with small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions and non-profits. If I decide that your project is not a good fit for me, I will try to refer you elsewhere.
How long will it take?
Since every design project is unique in scope and requirements, turn-around time varies. I provide a proposed schedule as part of the design brief.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept payment by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. For most projects, I request a 25-75% down payment to schedule the work. I require 100% up front for brand audit and strategy projects. The final invoice will be paid on completion of the project, prior to releasing the final work. Payment arrangements are included in the project proposal and outlined in the contract.
Do you handle printing?
Yes, only as part of an overall print or collateral project. I work only with printers that I have pre-qualified. I manage a project all the way through to delivery of printed materials.
Do you do pro bono work?
I am not accepting new pro bono projects at this time.
